Savanna

hello everyone, I'm in the Savanna in the northern territory now. Almost finished my trip. Savanna or Savannah is a tropical or subtropical woodland ecosystem characterised by the trees being sufficiently small or widely spaced so that the canopy does not close. The word Savannah is derived from the 16th century-Spanish word savanna, meaning “treeless plain”. The Australian tropical Savanna is one of the world's largest Savanna. The Australian tropical savanna is an area of dense grass and scattered trees that stretches across northern Australia from Broome to Townsville. There are actually 2 types of seasons in savanna's, a very long dry season (winter) and a very long wet season (summer).
